|Word : The Three|
|Three is the sum of the first two
numbers. After the One, it is the first undividable number.
If One, Unity, is God, if Two is the matter, Three is the organized matter.
The Three therefore means the balance: physical, moral, intellectual, or cosmic.
The Three, in Masonry, is the number of the Apprentice with his three years, his three steps, the three steps of the stair.
